4-H Service Projects 4-H Service Projects are held each month to help individuals/organizations who are in need. |

4-H Poster Art The 4-H Poster competition is available to all 4th-12th grade 4-H members. Members create and design a 4-H promotional poster. The county competition is held in December. |
4-H Public Speaking The 4-H Public Speaking competition is available to all 4th-12th grade 4-H members. Members write and present speeches to their class/club on designated topics. The county competition is held in January. |

4-H Piggy Bank The 4-H Piggy Bank competition is available to all 4th-12th grade 4-H members. Members create, build and design a piggy bank with a theme. The main goal of this competition is to increase creativity and promote saving money. The county competition is held in February. |
4-H Demonstration The 4-H Demonstration competition is available to all 4th-12th grade 4-H members. Members create a demonstration that teaches others “how to do a skill.” The main goal of this competition is public speaking and creativity. The county competition is held in March. |

4-H Photography The 4-H photography competition is available to all 4th-12th grade 4-H members. Members can enter their photographs in 6 categories which include: black & white, landscape, buildings, citizenship/leadership, animals, people. The county competition is held in March |
4-H Bread Baking The 4-H Bread Baking competition is available to all 4th-12th grade 4-H members. Members research a recipe and bake a variety of different breads depending on their grade level requirements. The main goal of this competition is to increase the culinary arts level. The county competition is held in April. |

4-H Fair The 4-H Fair is available to Cloverbuds (5-8 years of age) and 4th -12th grade 4-H members. Categories include: arts and crafts, culinary, animals, horticulture, sewing, food preservation and much more!! The fair is held each summer. |
4-H Chick Chain The 4-H Chick Chain is open to all 4th-12th grade 4-H members. Members received 25 baby chicks which they raise and return 5 to the 4-H sale in the fall. A deposit is required. |

“On My Own” Financial Management Simulation The “On My Own” Financial Management Simulation is designed for middle school and high school students. Over 11,000 students have participated in the “real life” simulation. Interested teachers should call 901-752-1207. |
4-H Shooting Sports The 4-H Shooting Sports program is available to all 5th-12th grade 4-H members. New members are required to complete an educational class before attending the practices. The discipline is rifle. Leaders have completed extensive training offered by The University of Tennessee. Practices are held on Monday evenings. |

4-H Corn Crib The main fundraiser for the Shelby County 4-H Program is the 4-H Corn Crib at the Delta Fair. 4-H volunteers and members sell corn, sodas, tea and face paint to help fund the program. |

4-H Horse Club Shelby County 4-H has two horse clubs available for 4th-12th grade members. The Shelby County 4-H Horse Club meetings are held at the Extension office and the Germantown 4-H Horse Club meetings are held at the library in Germantown. |
4-H Honor Club The Shelby County 4-H Honor Club is open to all 6th-12th grade 4-H members. The club meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at the Extension office. The main goal of this club is to increase leadership and citizenship opportunities. |
Bartlett Wolfchase Home School Club The Bartlett Wolfchase Home School Club is open to all 4th-12th grade 4-H members. |
Collierville Whitecaps 4-H Community Club The Collierville Whitecaps Community Club is open to all 4th-12th grade 4-H members. |
